Gaia Wise, the daughter of British actors Emma Thompson and Greg Wise, started acting at the age of eight, making her screen debut in a small role in Thompson’s romantic comedy film Last Chance Harvey, before going on to resume acting in recent years with roles in TV shows Silent Witness and The Chelsea Detective.

This year, it was announced that Wise would lead the voice cast of the highly anticipated anime fantasy film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, due to be released in December, and will also star opposite her mother in Brian Kirk’s action thriller The Fisherwoman, set for release next year.
